A beautiful life awaits in Laguna

We are living in Rizal until I was grade 4, my life as a child is good back then. I have a lot of friends, we would just play over and over. It was a happy moment for a kid like me but as they said there's no age limit to  escape the pain and struggle. One night, the time that I will never forget, the time that my mother got stroke . She had a  bells palcy . Since my older brother is working in the hospital as a medtech we vomehow manage to cope with the bill. Since that day, she always had a therapy that's why we struggle financially. I was only 8 years old when that nightmare happened. Before she leave her house, Jannah full herself with a lot of rice and egg.  It is dark and loud, full of people when she arrived at the concert even though the band hasn't starting yet. "No wonder why" she said to herself 30 minutes after "Pangarap lang Kita" is coming out from the speaker that...

Unbearable Goodbye

Your words are still on my phone, a  message is there but left on delivered. Like a light that fades  away, just like you who couldn't stay. I type, erase, type again, erase, but you're gone, still longing for your trace . The space you left is silent now, I wish I could forget, but how? No more calls, no more you, what was ours is no longer mine. But I still recall your name, a memory  that stays the same.
